High Bluff Academy
offers individual courses for high school credit, which are approved by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC)
and the University of California. We are affiliated with
The Grauer School in Encinitas for our courses for credit.
We pride ourselves on having the most qualified
instructors available in San Diego. Many are either credentialed and/or hold Master's and Doctorate degrees in their subjects.
Most importantly, our teachers understand different learning styles and will tailor their teaching methods to the
needs of their students. We specialize in motivating reluctant learners and proving to them that they can succeed in a rigorous
academic environment.
All of our courses meet the California State Standards and are designed to prepare
students for college. Although we modify our teaching strategies for student success, we do not "water down" the
curriculum. Students taking our courses will be better prepared for college courses in those subjects than most students who
attend high school classes of 30-40 students. The individual attention that our students receive makes all of the difference!
