Under Session 2 Workshops & Non-Credit Courses
Reading & Writing Workshops (1 week: $195, 2 weeks: $350)
Each week begins with strategic
reading techniques guaranteed to improve comprehension and retention,
followed by direct writing instruction. Our experienced teachers will
guide students to write clearly & correctly and to improve the
sophistication of their writing.
Week One - Literature: August 4-7
Week Two - Nonfiction: August 11-14
Week Three - Literature: August 18-21
You have the choice of
attending one or two weeks of class to fit your schedule. Week Three
will be a repeat of Week One. Classes meet Monday through Thursday.

Math Preview Courses (1 week: $195, 2 weeks: $350)
Get a jumpstart
on next year's math course! Each week will cover new material from
the beginning of the course, as well as reviewing key concepts and
essential math skills from the previous year. Our small classes allow
for individualized instruction and are equally valuable for both
struggling students and those entering honors courses.
Week One - Chapters 1 & 2*: August 4-7
Week Two - Chapters 3 & 4*: August 11-14
Week Three - Chapters 1 & 2*: August 18-21
(*We use the SDUHSD approved texts for each math course)
You have the choice of attending one or two weeks of class to fit your
schedule. You may take either Week One or Week Three separately, or
you may take Week One and Week Two together for more complete
introduction. Classes meet Monday through Thursday.

SAT/ACT Test Preparation ($800 group session)
Test preparation is our specialty! Our students usually gain over 200 points after
taking our course. This course is designed for students taking the September ACT
and the October SAT and will provide the academic skills and content as well as
test taking strategies, tips, and tricks for both the SAT and ACT. The course
includes two full-length mock exams, 36 hours of small group instruction, and all books
and materials. Limited to 8 students per class. Private classes are also available.
